Funny Money Friday: Credit Haiku Contest
Money doesn't have to be boring! Each week, CreditBloggers.com
takes a look at the lighter side of the personal finance world in a
series called Funny Money Friday.
It has been a while since our last contest on CreditBloggers.com. We received great entries to the credit card warning label contest and the "you might be a credit geek" contest. It's time to test your creativity again!
Today's challenge is to write a credit haiku! Haikus are short poems with a 5 syllable line, 7 syllable line and 5 syllable line. You can read more about haiku online here. Here are two examples to get you started:
New credit offers
with high charges and fees
go in my shredderThe credit bureaus
Equifax and TransUnion
and Experian
Of course, your haikus can be much more creative than my examples! Anything personal finance or credit related will work. Submit your entries in the comments section below before Wednesday next week. Enter as many haikus as you would like. The reader with the best haiku will win a free copy of the book Credit Scores, Credit Cards. Happy Friday!
