Nice Friday: Welcome Credit.com's Money Coach!

I'm so glad to be joining the CreditBloggers.com team!

As a Money Coach, I work daily to help guide people through their financial issues and challenges, both individually and in their relationships. In the midst of this economy, there are more people who need help than I could possibly attend to, so my hope is to provide a forum here on CreditBloggers.com that provides readers with a safe place to go for money coaching, advice and encouragement. Hopefully, I can help ease the way a bit as we navigate through this challenging time.

As a former financial adviser and now, as the founder of the Money Coaching Institute, I have committed much of my life to understanding the deep, personal side of money, the underbelly, so to speak, that dictates our patterns, behaviors and emotions around money. This work is more than a job to me, it’s my life’s purpose and I am truly grateful to have something of value to offer people during this time when so many need help.

I believe that we have arrived at this place in time so that we could rethink our relationship to money and begin to make different choices – choices that are more in alignment with our values, priorities and beliefs. Clearly, the path we were on financially was not serving us and we had become very imbalanced. And the natural order of life is to seek a way to create balance out of imbalance, order from chaos. This didn’t just happen...we all had a hand (albeit, maybe a small one compared to some) in creating this situation. Now, together we must all have a hand in changing it.

But first we must all become more aware of how we got here, understand our part and become committed to being more financially conscious and aware. Our personal and collective money patterns and behaviors have an enormous impact on the world and it is time we began to understand this. Otherwise, we risk continuing to create a world that doesn’t reflect who we are and one that operates from a set of rules we don’t understand or by all appearances, have little chance of winning.

What we need is to change the game, create new rules and hold everyone accountable to understanding how to play the game and finally, to playing by the book.

So that’s my intention for this blog...to be an advocate for people to become personally and financially conscious and empowered so that we may all choose more wisely and ultimately, level the playing field for all.
